About
Fortunately, we are both photographers and passionate about this industry. While Tim came by it naturally coming from a family of photographers, I married into it!
Throughout the years, we have found that we inspire each other daily as we forge ahead with Walden’s Photography. As I said, we are very blessed to be able to work together every day and still love what we do.
Tim is really big on making the most of each moment, creating experiences and making memories for us to always have. That’s what I love about him-he loves making memories and everything has the potential to be a wonderful experience.
He is inspired by great photographers of the past like Yousuf Karsh, Arnold Newman and of course, Ansel Adams, to name just a few.
He loves photography as much today as he did when he was just a kid and that is something special!
I love photography, but have, in recent years ventured out into other areas to see where I can soar. I have found my place with painting, designing and writing.
It has given me new heights to attain and infused my creativity with boundless options.
I am inspired by the beauty I see around me, the sweet smell of freshly cut grass, good cheese, and colorful wildflowers or roses artfully arranged.
Oh...almost forgot...one of my favorite activities is going to afternoon tea-umm good!
We both love sitting in little cafes, sipping lattes and relaxing. I think it may be one of our favorite things to do. We now select restaurants based on their outdoor seating!
We also tend to drive around our town a lot, talking about our ideas for the future while we sip Starbucks lattes (tall, decaf, low fat with just a sprinkle of cinnamon and one-half of a raw sugar.)
We live in paradise (better known as Bluegrass country) which is smack in the middle of Kentucky. Around us, we see horse farms, bourbon distilleries, southern style homes a la "Gone with the Wind," and lots of greenery. Ahhh....
With so much online teaching available today, how do you know who to choose? Who can really help you? Who is reliable and experienced?
As you can see from our degrees, we have been at this awhile and are still driven to excel.
We are PPA approved speakers and we were on the first Kodak Mentor Team as well as both of us being members of the Society of XXV and Tim being a member Camera Craftsmen of America.
However, we feel the most important quality of any teacher is the ability to connect and relate to others and that is our goal in every endeavor.
